Man's ego brain has led it amok.
Unless he is tempered by humility,
Man will face self created chaos.

Material control of life by the brain
Will smother all life that will spring.
For life, shorn of God's Holy Spirit,
Is, for organisms, death while living.

The human brain did have its time:
It was only for survival of the fittest.
Now we need a total transformation.
Tell your heart," You are the biggest."

If the brain bows at Heart's feet,
Takes Heart as its ultimate Guru,
Love will shower, on parched earth,
Ambrosia, born of harmony, true.
_
We have to remain true to Nature,
For Nature remains true to its Lord:
Nature brings man God's harmony,
And so helps him move towards God.

BEYOND
THE MIND

Beyond the mind a secret lies,
A secret that is of Yoga,
Not reached by talk or by thought
Or when gripped by Moha.
_
The definition Patanjali gives,
"chitta vritti nirodha",
Emphasises that Mind alone
Is the block to Yoga.
_
On activity that is exhibited,
On desires that hide,
On what is of Past and Future,
The present cannot ride.
_
The present bears the Presence
Of which, the mind, can tire.
All mental activity It must kill,
To reveal the Eternal Fire.
_
Tarry not, Seekers of Truth !
Reach beyond the mind !
Knowledge of Truth is not had
In what the mind can find.

In_
It is beyond Space and Time,
Beyond Eternity too,
Surpass the mind to reach It
For, It is in You!

TAJUDDIN BABA,
Crown of the Prophet

No one could understand him.
_
No one had any idea who he really was!
_
No one knew that
Taj was the Crown!
_
Several British ladies were chatting,
drinking their Friday afternoon tea at the country club
when suddenly they saw a naked Indian man
walking across the tennis courts.
_
Outraged by this shocking spectacle
and thinking the fellow must be insane,
they summoned the police, who arrested him,
then had him sentenced to be locked up in a lunatic asylum.

This "lunatic," however,
was wonderfully strange and different.
A crowd would gather outside the walls of the asylum
awaiting his blessing!
_
A separate entranceway was erected to the asylum
just so people could see this lunatic!
_
Why?
_
Was he really mad
or were the people who committed him mad?
Why would people seek the blessing
of this particular madman?
_
It was the wine
it was the wine he alone had!

Although the British considered this Mohammedan mad,
they must have been the maniacs,
for they did not recognize him.
_
He was an owner of a spiritual wineshop.
He was the Taj of India
the Crown of Islam!
He was Tajuddin Baba, a Qutub
– a pivot of the universe –
an axis of cosmic forces.
_
This Perfect Master opened his wineshop
in a mental asylum and the people who flocked to him
became intoxicated and divinely mad.
_
If this Mohammedan was not mad,
why would such a man have had himself
locked up in a madhouse?
_
Ordinary people cannot fathom this mystery.
Had he not come for the mad themselves?
For those lost in the madness of this world?
This Qutub's sixteen years in that asylum
were a phase of his inner work.

Sri Vinod Agarwal Ji

Born on 6th June, 1955
in the Northern Indian city of Delhi,
Vinodji developed an inclination
and an amazing acumen for the bhajans and kirtans
at a very early age.
_
At the age of 7, in 1962 he migrated to Mumbai
with his family.
_
As a child
Vinodji was quite inclined towards religious epics.
_
Like the parents of many other great saints
Vinodji's parents were adorned with the hearts
that were blessed with purity, nobility
and great reverence to teachers and saints.
_
Being firm believers of Lord Krishna and Raadhaaji,
his parents encouraged bhajans and kirtans
and invited saints and gurus at home.
_
Gradually by the age of 12
Vinodji started singing
and
learnt harmonium instinctively.
_
His wife has been his backbone
with unconditional support
and seldom accompanies him
in his programmes.
_
His father encouraged him during childhood
and up to the age of 18
to visit voluntarily people and get them involved
in kirtans amidst criticism.
_
Non stop radha madhav kirtan,
janmashtami, shivratri etc.
gave him stamina
to conduct uninterrupted long
sankirtan programmes.
