IN THE ARK

of
A NEW MATSYAVATHARA

In the ark of new Matsyavathara,
Holy ark of loving remembrance,
We safely float on rising waters
That signifiy this age's terminus.
_
We are together near and here,
On a boat moving beyond time,
Hiding the Eternal in our hearts,
Singing hymns of praise in rhyme:
_
A journey quite long and arduous
Many dangers crossing our way:
As He pulls the boat on the waters,
We know, in safe hands, we stay.
_
A New Era appears on the horizon,
A mount of good hope on the shore,
We will soon land ashore in safety,
We cannot ever ask Him for more.
_
Remembrance is our thanksgiving,
For loving remembrance, He asks.
Remembrance is oil on the waters,
In its warmth every pilgrim basks.
_
On the shore we will again find Him,
The New Era Pathfinder, in-waiting,
As Universal Manifestation, leading
To our new habitation, for claiming.
_
He has sent his beloved, an Avathar,
And many messengers of His Whim,
Known, unknown, named, unnamed,
Showing us how to remember Him!

LET US ALL COME TOGETHER

Come! God lovers ! All come together.

Let us pray to Him with all our might.

Things of the world may divert attention,

But let us not leave Him out of sight !

_

To us, He came, as "Guest of the People",

Suffering much, He led us away from sin.

Making quite sure that He stays within us,

Let us work for Him, His Love, all to win !

_

He came not once but again and again,

Fought Evil with His Power of Truth:

He revealed to us the Path to Freedom

And returned to HIs Haven forsooth.

_

Let us all march together on this path ,

Shoulder to shoulder, blood brothers all,

Be it a path filled with thorns or roses,

Helping one another, that none may fall.

_

The world is Real, our souls are Real.

Our beloved God is more Real than all !

He enveloped the earth with His blood !

Within Him we move guided by His call !

_

Let us ever thank Him for all He gave us.

Let us thank Him for each day we pass.

Being thankful for guidance He gives us,

We thank Him for His benevolent laws.

_

Oh ! God keep us grateful and peaceful.

Please allow us not to ever forget You.

You being our Father, Lord and Master,

We, saved from oblivion, as lovers true !

On the Ganga, for Dharma's destination.

True Education, when with Division on leash,

Causes Hate, hearts' breaker , to cease,

Bathing in Sarasvathi's waters of Truth,

Man progresses towards the Ocean of Peace.

True Education, a Sadhana, a striving,

Remembering one's source, connecting,

In Radha's Prema- the Yamuna of Love,

Leads the human soul to home coming!

When education's prayer to the Muse,

Is charged with Jordan's love potion,
Holy Spirit, Muse of the Common God,

Descends as the dove of beatification!

When forces of evil, shadows of God,
Confront the mechanism of Evolution,
And the Sadgurus guarding it unable
To save humanity's worsening situation,

God's Grace comes down on Earth
Answering Sadgurus' fervent prayers,
As Avatharic Universal Manifestation,
Come with specific missions and cares.

Every Avathar delivers a unique push
To the force and direction of Evolution,
Making the future of Evolution's march
Easier, less painful, without stagnation,

Evolution, being put on an even keel,
The Avatar passes. His manifestation,
To resume the march with Divine Glory,
Remains, till the next avataric visitation.

THE AVATAR OF THE AGE

Eternal Omnicient Omnipresent Lord,
As Ancient One, taking many Avathars,
In the last avathar of this set of yugas,
As Meher Baba, you came and returned,

Leaving behind You, to guide the world,
Which, though unseen and unknowable,
Is Your Universal Manifestation on Earth,
That is felt by the humble and charitable.

This resplendent Manifestation present,
Here, in our midst, guiding us on the path,
Is to be attended on, in watchful alertness,
Seeking its guidance for every step taken.

It is never found absent, nor away from us,
Its presence sits Here and Now among us,
Awaiting our call for succour and guidance,
To tread the new spiritual path laid for us.

Glorious Manifestation! We humbly pray,
"Reveal Yourself within our feeling for You.
Save us from the confusion of darkness,
Lead us to the Light lit by Your Splendour!

Our Unseen Guide

THE ONE IS HERE

The One is here, unseen unknown,
Can you feel Him now?
He waits for you to come feel Him,
But do you know, how?

You know that you are here alive.
You can feel it yourself.
Why cannot you feel that He is here
More real than the self?

We do not know or see that, having
Placed us where we are,
He now can show us how to proceed
Towards our Goal afar.

He guards us here so that we prepare
Ourselves to be aware,
Of His Presence here and wait on HIm
For courage to do and dare.

The Avatar Has Gone . . .

The Avatar is gone, His spirit remains,
In which divine miracles abound,
Brought on by God's Universal Grace,
Within, without and all around.

Meher Baba, God, who overflowed
With Grace, Compassion and Love,
Though not present in human form,
Brought us the descent of the Dove.
_
This Dove of His Universal Grace,
Now descending on earth forsooth,
Ending an era of untruth and hate,
Inaugurates the New Era of Truth.
_
His Will:The Avatar came and went.
His Universal Manifestation remains
Guiding the destiny of the human race,
Till Avathar Meher's supremacy reigns.
